This page covers problems with the anyIP dashboard account itself: logging in, resetting your password, verifying and activating your account, recovering a forgotten or lost email, losing access to a Google account used to sign in, and accounts that show as blocked. These are separate from proxy connection errors. For proxy connection problems, see Troubleshooting.
Your anyIP account password and your proxy password are not the same thing. This page is about the account password you use to log in to the dashboard. To change a proxy password, open the Proxies page and use Get Proxy Details.

”Failed to fetch” or “Failed to retrieve” on login

When you sign in with a password you know is correct and the dashboard says “Failed to fetch” or some other fetch error, the most common reason is too many attempts in quick succession. You will be briefly rate limited. To clear it:
  1. Stop trying to log in. Do not make any login attempt for at least 15 minutes. Each new attempt restarts the timer.
  2. After about 15 minutes, open the login page in a different browser and sign in again.
  3. If it still fails, wait the full window (up to 30 minutes) without attempting, then try again.
If the issue persists beyond the allotted window, please reach out to support from within your dashboard.

Reset your password

Reset your password here if you’ve forgotten it or the dashboard isn’t accepting your password.
  1. Go to https://anyip.io/account/forgot-password.
  2. Enter your account email address.
  3. Click “Send recovery email”.
  4. Open the email and follow the steps to set a new password.
You must have access to the email on your account to reset the password. Support cannot change the password for you from chat. If you cannot log in to that email, see I lost access to my account email below.

The reset password page is blank

If you see a white/reset password page, try clearing your browser or opening the link in a new browser. Disable your VPN prior to loading the page. If the reset password page is blank, please submit a ticket through the dashboard with a screenshot of your screen.

The verification email did not arrive

anyIP delivers account verification via email link, not text code to your phone. Verification link will be sent to your registered email upon logging into your account. If you do not see it:
  1. Confirm you are checking the inbox of the email address you registered with.
  2. Check your spam or junk folder.
  3. If the email still has not arrived, contact support from the dashboard and include your account email address.

Activate a new account when the email did not arrive

Upon registration, new users will be sent an email with an activation link. If you’ve purchased a plan and are unable to confirm your account or activate it due to not receiving the email:
  1. Check your spam or junk folder for the activation email.
  2. If it is not there, use the password reset as a workaround. Go to https://anyip.io/account/forgot-password, enter your account email, and click “Send recovery email”.
  3. Follow the steps in that email to set a password. Completing the reset activates the account.
Resetting your account works around the lock because it confirms you own that email.

I forgot which email is on my account

If you are a frequent user of the proxies but have forgotten what email address you used to register the account, then support should be able to find it using your proxy username. E-mail support from within the dashboard using your full proxy username like this: user_0d0cea. We will match the username against an account and inform you what email address it belongs to.

The account email and sign-in method cannot be changed

Due to security concerns, we are unable to edit the email address of an existing anyIP account. This also includes changing your sign-in method. If you signed up with “Continue with Google”, you will not be able to change it to use an email and password to sign-in. You will also not be able to transfer the account to a different Google account. If you no longer have access to the email or Google account, recover it with your provider first. If that is not possible, the remaining option is the ownership verification process, which moves your subscription to a new account. It does not change the email on the existing account.

I lost access to my account email

In order to reset your password, you must have access to the email associated with your account. AnyIP uses the recovery email to confirm that you are the owner. If you cannot access that email, you will not be able to reset your password yourself.
  1. Try to recover the mailbox through your email provider. This is usually the fastest way back into your anyIP account.
  2. If the email account was blocked or deleted and cannot be restored, contact support from the dashboard and explain what happened. Support can start the ownership verification process.

I lost access to the Google account I sign in with

If you previously signed in using “Continue with Google” always, and no longer have access to that Google account, you will not be able to change the sign-in method for your anyIP account. First, recover access to that Google account:
  1. Use the account recovery options Google provides.
  2. Try the recovery from a device and network you have used with that Google account before, with the proxy turned off. This can help Google recognize you and offer other verification methods, for example when Google asks for a code sent to a phone number you no longer have.
If Google recovery is not possible, contact support and ask about the ownership verification process.

Move your subscription to a new account

If you’re unable to restore your email or Google account to your anyIP account, support can walk you through an account ownership verification process. Once verified, our billing department can transfer your current subscription to a new account with a different email address.
1

Contact support

Message support from the dashboard, explain why you no longer have access to the original email or Google account, and ask to start ownership verification.
2

Send proof of ownership

Share as much of the following as you have:
  • The original email address associated with the anyIP account.
  • The TXID(s) of any previous crypto payments made for the account.
  • The payment methods used and any invoices for the account.
  • The most recent proxy username you still have access to.
  • Any previous support emails from anyIP.
The billing team may ask for additional details during the review.
3

Create a new account

Register a new anyIP account with a different email address that you control, and give support that new email address.
4

Wait for the billing review

The billing team reviews the request. Once ownership of the original account is confirmed, they transfer your current subscription to the new account.
Ownership verification is a manual review and can take some time. Recovering your original email or Google account is usually faster, so try that first.

Cannot register: “too many sign up attempts”

When registration fails due to an error like “Too many sign- up attempts” that IP address has reached the sign up limit and been temporarily banned. This often occurs while using a VPN. Since lots of people are using the same VPN IP, that shared IP reaches the limit. To work around it:
  1. Wait for the time shown in the error message before trying again.
  2. Turn off your VPN and try to register again on your normal connection.
  3. If you must use a VPN, switch to a different server or IP and retry.
If the problem persists, please contact support and attach a screenshot of the error (right click > attach image) in the chat. After your account has been created, you will be able to use our service as usual.

Account blocked

Accounts can be blocked for various reasons, and the solution will vary accordingly.

Blocked because the subscription is not active

If you cannot log in or connect and the account looks blocked, first confirm you have an active subscription. An account with no active subscription cannot use the proxies even if data remains. Renew at https://anyip.io/account/#/plans. For the full rules on expiry, rollover, and top-up versus renew, see Billing & Data.

Blocked because of a payment dispute

If a payment dispute (chargeback) is opened against a payment made to your account, your account will be temporarily frozen. To request a review open a ticket with support from your dashboard. Provide details on what happened and why the dispute was filed. Once Support knows what happened they will review your case.
Dispute reviews are handled by the team during business hours. A case opened on a weekend may not be reviewed until the team is next online.

Still stuck?

If you’ve followed the steps above and still cannot access your account, please reach out to support from within your dashboard and include:
  • The account email address, if you know it.
  • A screenshot of the exact error you see, attached directly in the chat.
  • Your proxy username, if you are trying to recover a forgotten email.
